德国历史文化原始资料数据库由美国Readex出版社推出，国内由CINFO提供各项服务与支持。哈拉尔德·菲舍尔出版社（Harald Fischer Verlag）创立于1984年，该出版社的理念是将思想史和文化史中的重要著作通过科学手段进行复制并重新出版。Harald Fischer德国历史原始资料数据库包含有思想史及文化史典藏档案文献，包含内容如德国思想家和教育改革家威廉·冯·洪堡手稿到希伯来及犹太珍稀试料等，具体由以下子数据库组成，同时还将不断增加新内容：
